Thanks for explaining the argument in such an eloquent fashion OmahaChief

Denver's defense has been bad this season but Denver is still 5-0. KC's offense has been anything but stellar and yet they are 5-0. Denver's offense is their strength and carrying them. KC's defense is their strength and carrying them. What am I missing?

I don't like their run stopping either, though I'm aware of their league rank. they've allowed 5 rushing TD's in five games -- to me, that is indicative.
I love their LBs in Woodyard and Trevathan. Getting Von and Champ back will help (unless Champ's wheels have completely fallen off, which isn't out of the realm of possibility). Phillips has been an adequate DE and will be decent depth for their sub pckgs.

They're definitely needing some pass rush help. Should we send the Donks a new fax machine for Christmas?

Point is that the donks are giving up 27 ppg and the Chiefs are scoring 26 ppg. The Chiefs D is giving up 11 ppg and the donks are scoring 46 ppg. If things keep going the way they are, our games will be a lot closer than people think

D'oh! Faxgate.... That was totally a big "FU" from Elvis to the Denver front office no doubt. Can't say I really blame him though.

Ayers has also been serviceable thus far and getting Miller back should help the defense dramatically. Romo had all day to throw yesterday. Having the ability to at least flush the QB from the pocket will help Denver's defense no doubt.

Champ can still play but his age has caught up with him. His cover skills are still amongst the best in the league imo but his lack of speed really hurts him when it comes to turning and running stride for stride with the fast receivers in today's NFL.

That being said, getting both back will improve the Bronco defense no doubt. To what extent? Only time will tell....

Got it. I was never one to think that Denver would be blowing KC out. I for one am pumped that the AFC West is on the rise and should make for some epic divisional games this season.

KC's shut down defense versus Denver's high flying offense has all the makings of a couple classic match ups this season!

I understand your points, but the rules favor the offense.. Unless KC steps it up offensively, the games could get out of hand. KC must have more offense if it hopes to have any real chance to beat Denver.

If our D can hold them to under 30, which I believe they can, the Chiefs have a real shot to at least split with them
