****OFFICIAL Trade Thread****

I'll start it off:

I'm looking for a better TE option (I drafted Coby Fleener and picked up Jared Cook off the scrap heap) and a guy in my league (Packers fan) floated Roddy White and Zach Ertz for Randall Cobb. Seems like a pretty good deal? White and Cobb are both technically WR2s but Cobb benefits from a better QB and better overall team. Is it worth pulling the trigger or am I just overthinking Week 1?

In light of Adrian Peterson being deactivated, what do you think is good trade value for him considering that he will miss this week and possibly more? I have offered Crabtree and Joique Bell. Is that too much? It wouldn't surprise me to see him suspended for the year after the whole Ray Rice fiasco. But if not I would be sitting on Jamaal, Arian, Gio Bernard and AP. If he is suspended I lose a couple decent players. Worth the risk??

I'm about to be 2-0 but I'm real concerned about my WRs. I've got Vincent Jackson, Roddy White, Wes Welker, Tavon Austin, and Steve Smith. There's a dude in my league who has Calvin Johnson AND Brandon Marshall... should I try and dangle Marshawn Lynch or Arian Foster for CJ (+maybe a depth player?)

Keep in mind this league is PPR.

I wouldn't. Chris Johnson is now in a timeshare with Shonne F'n Greene, Allen Hurns is about to go back to the bench with Shortie Smalls coming back. Don't care about defenses. You are basically trading Arian Foster for Cutler.

No way.

What do you think about trading Asiata for Welker, to the AP owner of course.

team and rules follow:

14 team league, where you can start 2 QB's, since we have a OP flex position. Also, we are a half PPR and return yards count, which makes the WR depth on the waiver wire pretty decent actually.

QB - Andy Dalton, Alex Smith (don't call me a homer, he was the best left), Geno Smith
WR - Antonio Brown (return yards!), Cordarrelle Patterson (return yards!)
HB - Jamaal Charles, Kniles Davis, Donald Brown, Pierre Thomas, Terrence West, Matt Asiata, Jeremy Hill
TE - Jordan Reed
Def - Cincinnati
K - Cody Parkey

Actually Chris Ivory...who is a better back and more likely to get goalline looks

I would definitely do that... I bet Asiata will lose his job to McKinnon, considering AP remains deactivated.

I wouldn't do it... even without AP, you are looking very good at RB... No need to do it, IMO... Keep ahold of Crabtree.

I actually withdrew the trade. Then today traded Bernard Pierce for AP. I have Gio, Jamaal (with Kniles Davis to handcuff), Arian Foster, Terrance West and Joique Bell and AP. Now I was never gonna play Pierce anyways. And more than likely will end up cutting AP. But if something happens and he does a plea agreement on Oct 7 then its possible I could have the greatest fantasy RB squad going into the playoffs. With hopes to trade 1 to boost my TE or WR spot as these are my weakest areas (Zach Ertz, Kelvin Benjamin, TY Hilton, Sammy Watkins, and Crabtree). To me that was a good move as I was probably gonna cut Piercefor backup kicker, TE, or Def.

I already have Arian Foster and Marshawn Lynch, but I noticed a guy only had RGIII at QB so I tried to see what he might want for Kaep. He came at me with this

He gets: Kaep + Steve Smith
I get: Montee Ball

(He also has DeMarco Murray, Matt Forte, Mike Wallace, and Pierre Garcon)

It's PPR but I feel like having three RB1s could really pay off?

Yeah, he balked a bit.. I considered overpaying, and then got an offer for Asiata for Steve Smith, Sr. With the emergence of Sanders and the number of weapons that Manning has, I'm think Smith may end up having the better year anyway. Smith gives me a decent bye week fill in for my wide receivers.. I had no backup for that position before. Smith is currently the #12 ranked WR in my league (.5 ppr) and has been very consistent so far. I think losing Pitta will boost Smith's role as well.

Yes, this.. Do it with a quickness if you have depth at WR and a decent Qb already.
