DON'T buy WS tickets at current prices
I have a few friends that deal in the secondary market professionally here in KC. (Not scalpers, technically. These guys have offices and pay taxes.) I've been told by, literally, all of them not to buy until at least Monday. All three that I've called about tickets have told me they have them, but that no one is buying at current prices...even on StubHub. They say that by game day they expect prices to drop dramatically. One even saying he expects SRO to fall to around $250 and then for prices to increase incrementally from there. He basically said people are throwing shit against the wall to see what sticks at this point, and that nothing is sticking.

Again, I went to HS with 2 of these guys, so them not trying to stiff me isn't a surprise...even though it's basically what they do for a secondary income.

If you have the scratch to buy now, go ahead I guess. But if you're on a budget, I wouldn't rule out going to a game just yet.

Buddy of mine won some contest where he was able to go online on buy two tickets wherever he could for face. He got two seats in section 206, row HH. Said face value for those was $325.

Maybe, but I bet 50% of the people that choose between the WS and ALCS chose the ALCS. I don't think demand will change THAT much. Now, if the Cards had made it they would have caused prices to double IMO with that fan base traveling across the state.

Going to Game 1... But I think my dad lied on what face value is. He told me Wednesday he'd reimburse two tickets if I bought them but I said $500+ is too expensive. Called me this morning and said if I wanted to go he could get two tickets for much less than that.
