Fowler was hitting before the injury too. As far as Mags, several opposing scouts were asking if he would make the team out of Spring Training so I don't think that this is a mirage.

They are not going to keep Sierra around barring a serious long term injury to Piscotty, Fowler, or Grichuk. Pham will likely stay when Piscotty gets back, he is out of options.

Anybody hear about this kid PonceDeLeon at Memphis? He took a liner off the dome in Iowa the other day. Had brain surgery today to reduce the swelling. He wasn't a great prospect but that's bad business for him. Matheny knows how he feels.

Pham is not out of options, they can send him up and down all year long if they want, next year he would be a rule 5 player and they would have to put him through waivers.

Yes, my bad I was thinking about the Rule 5. Sierra is not going to be kept over him though. Martinez should not be kept over either of them.

Hopefully Peralta heals slowly. They don't need anything disrupting the flow right now.

Speaking of Albert he's 5 dingers away from 600, and 141 hits away from 3000. His production dropped off significantly when he went to Anaheim, if he could have hit at his Stl pace he would have reached both of those numbers by now. Those are some incredible numbers for a guy who's only played for 17 years though.
