On the other hand I watched Travelers on NetFlix (one season) and they only really had one dog of an episode. A team member was basically in a coma for the whole episode and it was full of dream sequence bullshit. That was a nice guilty pleasure that I would recommend over The OA. Or even Glitch. That was kind of fun but dragged in its emo moments. I'm currently going through Jonathan Strange & Mr Norrell. It's holding my interest. |

I finished Travelers and liked all but the very end of the finale. There's cliffhangers and there's leaving an audience thinking there must be another ep in the queue somewhere.
I also just finished a show called Beyond on Freeform, which was surprisingly good. It's airing weekly on the channel starting last week, but is also available online and, at least with TWC, on demand. So you can binge all ten episodes. I didn't even realize until after it was over that the creative heads are Tim Kring and David Eick. It's a bit low budget, but I found it creative and engaging. I can't actually think of anything else I've ever watched on the former ABC Family. |

"Yeah, I heard that, but **** she's hot. I......I'll have to see..." I've danced this dance with Shane Carruth as far as loving indie creators and, again, I'm waiting it out...

Seems like the premise of the movements are similar to the Native American "Ghost Dance" practice of the 1800s where properly preforming a particular dance would reunite the living and the dead...or something like that. I remember reading something about it a while back.
