I will say that I'd want a "keep the name" situation... just because I don't want to have to re-buy my whole wardrobe.

I disagree about the shooting being improved, but I'm sure there are stats that back up your claim. Personally, I get no enjoyment out of watching an NBA game anymore. Maybe I'll give it another chance after the Chiefs' season is over in two weeks. The only problem with that is I was always a Lakers fan and they suck right now. |

I just don't get it. In 2012 fans revolted to get new coach/GM, but in the worst season in team history no one talked about the team leaving. Since we are rebuilding, have gone 11-5 last year and the worst we can do this year (with the toughest schedule in the NFL) is 8-8. Things are looking up, and you guys now want the team to leave?
Doen't make a bit of sense. You are the most fickle people I've ever seen. No matter what happens the grass is always greener on the other side of the fence. Even when the other side of the fence is a new team that is guaranteed to suck for years. |

I got news for you. Seeing your team win in the postseason, is just as sweet and as fleeting as those fans who have been waiting for 40 years. Look at San Fran. They went to the superbowl, two years ago. Now look at them, all up in arms over missing the post season. Do you really think that the CHiefs (ever) get to the superbowl will be anything more than a week long coverage and then it's on to the next thing. Sure for you, and the other 5 chiefs fans, it'll be great. You were alive when the chiefs made it to the superbowl again. Someday you'll get to tell your great great grandkids that you saw RG3 lead the Chiefs to the Superbowl. But to your kids, who got sick of waitin on the chiefs, and switched to the packers (#gopackgo) got to see a superbowl every other 3 years. You being a fan has nothing to do with postseason 'sweetness' of victory |

If the Chiefs won the Super Bowl, in Kansas City it would be HUGE for quite a bit longer than a week. Quote:
As to your last sentence, can you try it again in English, please? |

Someone is jealous of teams that find success quickly, like a SB victory could not be as satisfying without long extreme suckage first.

However, I guarantee that the amount of enjoyment had by fans that had it dropped into their laps is not nearly that of fans that were there during the struggling times. You think an Arizona Diamondback fan had as much emotion about their world series win in 2001, after 3 long years of waiting, as a Red Sox fan in 2004? I can't imagine that being true. |

I showed the thread to 7 former STH in the office and 6 out of 7 of them are glad they're "former" STHs (the 7th just didn't have the money anymore). Like me they've saved thousands and thousands of dollars over the years and except for that one person, can still go to any game they want for a LOT less coin.
