Unfortunately Elway has Von by the balls, but I don't think there's any way he takes less than 50 mil guaranteed. I'd hold out before I let him **** me like that.

He can do that, but he won't be making any money in the process. Which would be about 700k per game that he misses. Plus the team can fine him 30k per day (i think) of everyday he misses training camp.

They offered him $58M guaranteed. $38M of it was fully guaranteed and the rest of the guaranteed $ would be paid out if Von was still on the roster the 5th day of the league year in 2018. If Denver made the third year of the contract fully guaranteed Von would sign it instantly.

Yep...and that 3rd year is the sticking point. Broncos will end up doing it the way he wants. This is just part of the process.
