Yes, it's a former-hitman-comes-out-of-retirement-for-revenge movie. Yes, it stars Keanu Reeves as the aging hitman. Yes, it looks pretty badass.

Saw it in IMAX over the weekend. Loved it. Keanu gon' Keanu, but the movie was ****ing fun as shit.

I love the more realistic shooting and fighting and it had that certain awesome "umph" of impacts that you don't very often get watching action flicks. It's definitely a great ride, IMO.

Keanu probably offed 50 guys in this movie, half of those with head shots. There was nothing realistic about this movie.

The stylized nature of the gun-play and action scenes reminded me greatly of Equilibrium.

It was fantastic. I loved this. 300 stars out of five.

I mentioned this in the movie thread.

I remember it getting acclaim from CP but miraculously I had low expectations. My buddy and I both had shorty weeks and thoroughly enjoyed watching people die horribly. Good movie. One of the best of the genre. Predictable but what revenge flick isn't. Best thing about it is that it didn't take itself too seriously.
