NES Classic Edition

Ok, my nine year old daughter wants one of these for Christmas and they are impossible to find. Jackasses have scooped them all up and price gouging on eBay. Any tips on how to get one of these? Or anyone have one in the box to sell for a reasonable price. (Long shot I know)

Thanks!

Nintendo angers me so much. Only releasing 3 of these per store to create hype and faux demand. Screw it I've had an emulator on my PC for 20 years with every game ever made for every Nintendo console up to the Wii. So eat that Nintendo. PS - Make a good Metroid and Kid Icarus game you lazy tools.

Sorry I don't have a solution for you. Just needed to vent.

I had to wait in line to get one on release night. You best bet is to coordinate with your local shops for their shipments. Trying to get one online is next to impossible, since scalpers are using bots to instantly snag them up.

Do you know how many units your store got? I know someone that works at ToysRUs that could tip me off. I don't want to wait hours I. The cold and them get like three units and still not get one

Your best bets are Target, Gamestop, and Walmart. At this point, I don't think people are going to be waiting in lines for it, you are more likely to walk into a store to find one. The stocks all vary as well. My Wal-mart had 12, the gamestop nearby had 6, (all release day numbers) so YMMV. Just call or stop in. They should all have to capability to view incoming orders. Any store that is 24 hours, and you are willing to wait inside (so awl-mart preferably) will probably be what you are looking for.

I was so frustrated on release day, that I said screw it and built an emulator using a raspberry pi 3. (I call it my Member Berry Pie) Uses a PS3 controller hooked up via blue tooth. Plugged into the USB on my tv and an HDMI, so the power goes on with the tv. It's not plug and play really, but it isn't hard to figure out. I'm loaded with over a thousand NES games, plus hundreds of SNES, N64, Genesis, Game Gear, Game boy, GB Advanced, and GB color games. It will supposedly play PS1 and PSP games too, but I'm having some difficulty finding ROMs for them.

I ended up getting a Raspberry Pi instead and now I have every NES, SNES, Genesis and Atari 2600 game plus a few PS1, N64 and GBA games on it.

I'm trying to find PS1 and PSP roms. I have NES, SNES, Genesis, GB, GBA, GBC, and Atari 2600 games, and a few N64 games, though the N64 emulator seems to bog down and doens't work so well. What source did you use for the PS1 ROMS?
