Curious how the board polls. I'm guessing it's 75%. (I am not one of them)

To find out the % of Americans who have, according to CBS see here:

Oh, my answer is; yes I've tried it but I don't use it. It didn't really do anything for me that I couldn't get from booze.

That's awesome. To be honest, I've never really paid much attention to tracks within movies/shows/commercials until Hans Zimmer and Chris Nolan started pairing up. I found myself wondering how Chris Nolan created such an epic feel to his movies when I realized it was the composer pulling it off for him. Since then, I haven't been able to pay attention to much else.

Must be pretty cool to be that 'behind the curtains' type, unknowingly pulling on the strings of the audience's emotions.

I smoke some almost every night due to the fact it helps me sleep

I have PTSD from the military vacations they so nicely sent me on..so I have a hard time getting to sleep then have a hard time staying asleep..so I smoke a little about 30 min before bed

That being said I know a ton of other vets who smoke to get to sleep too..a lot of the people I know have tried sleep meds and it would cause worse nightmares or turn them into zombies and luckily weed doesn't do that

When I first moved to Colorado I had only a vague idea of the difference between indica, sativia and their effects. Stressed out as hell with my life's belongings in my buddies driveway the first night I arrived and he gave me an indica and said "this will help you sleep." Woke up the next day in the same position I fell asleep in 10 hours later feeling like a new man.

Not a big user but it works for some ailments (as well as a cool buzz) and that fact cannot be denied.

How much anti-inflammatory properties does weed really have?

I am allergic to anti-inflammatories (NSAIDs-Aleve,Advil) and with the lifting I do I get pretty bad hip bursitis quite frequently. No amount of stretching or icing does the trick and it can be quite painful. Really dampens my lifting too. I'd love a recovery type product to decrease some of my inflammation....believe me, I've tried all the joint, lifting and fish oil products in the world with limited success over my lifting career.

I am probably past my days of wanting to smoke anything but the edible stuff sure sounds interesting. I'm not looking to get high here (ok occasionally) but mostly if it can help with my hip pain?

I've heard advertisements for a product called Relief Factor in which they specifically market to people who can't take Aleve and Advil. I can't vouch for it, but you might look into it to see if it can help you.

I think that's just fish oil and some extract or hormone control agent.
