Opinions range all over the place on this issue, and rather than clutter up threads with my staunch disagreement with some folks, I figured a poll on this issue would be the best way to figure out the overall pulse.

If you think he'd net us something that's not listed on here (like 2 2nd round picks or something like that) then do your best to estimate what that approximate value would be.

Not a trolling game. It’s actually Andy’s game. He said he wouldn’t mind if Alex is here till he retires and reports at the beginning of training camp said they would like Mahomes to sit at least 2 years. Now Alex playing out of his mind even makes that case stronger.

Wonder if the 49ers have remorse over making the move.. considering where they are now and what he has done in KC. The 49ers had some idea as to what CK could do, if Patrick doesn't play this year... will be interesting.

I misclicked my vote and it ended up "high" instead of "low" first rounder.

My estimate is the equivalent of a 1st round pick, but probably not a first round pick.

I'm assuming that the equivalency will be somewhere in the neighborhood between the 15th pick and 25th pick. That could be a combination of a high 2nd and 3rd, or two 2nds.

but I don't think he'll be traded at all. or "IF" he is, it's because we're going to cut him and we'[ll work with Alex to see what teams he would be interested in playing for, then we would reach out to them.

Was this straight out of being drafted?

Or was it after Andy got Mahomes in mini-camp, training camp, and preseason and said, "Uhh... this guy learns pretty damn fast. He had a lot of ground to make up, but he's learning stuff way faster than we thought he would."

He’s a perfect bridge QB for one of these highly touted incoming rookie QBs, so I think a team with multiple firsts will use a later one to trade for Alex.

It would be extremely smart for Cleveland to try to hire Nagy as a fresh HC and trade for Alex.
