DHCP is set to the default 50 or whatever. Roommate found another linksys router, which seems to be working at the moment. I make fun of my girlfriends Mac all the time, but she does use it for photo and video editing quite a bit.
The problem is temporarily/possibly solved.

Hmmm, I know a little bit about routers and setting up wi-fi, but I'm by no means an expert. So a question for the experts. Could it simply be that his router has gone bad? Could he flash his firmware and get it back in working condition?

Thanks for the info, guys. Lzen, I think mine had just gone bad. Switched it our for another one, and everything has been good so far.
