Anyone who wants a team name change, let me know. I'll compile them and we'll make the changes.

As a note, this will be the last time that free-range name changes will be allowed. We'll be uploading a database of several thousand team names, and after that people will have to select one of those. It's a pretty good selection, though.

Can it be whatever we want? I have no problem picking from a list if that's how you want to do it. I just don't want to be the Pomona Beach Pandas.

Can we move to different cities? Provided they're in the same geographic region as our division?

Yep. Leagues 1 and 2 are open game since you're all Beta Testers. It would be nice if you would make it a name that is a) timeless and b) not crass so that we can freeze the names and keep our database consistent going forward. Imagine that you're dead (friction burns from a supermodel orgy - quite tragic) and the next owner coming in has to keep the game. Would he/she like it?

I can't imagine anyone not liking the name Pembroke Pines Patteeus, but just to account for people who like words they can look up in dictionaries, I'm willing to change my team name to the more generic, but equally alliterative Pembroke Pines Pelicans.

So it would be acceptable for Oklahoma City Outlaws to move to Madison, WI? Or should I try to keep it localish?

If it's cool, the OKC Outlaws will now be the Madison Brewers
