All that being said, yes, I'd take him on our team if it was feasible. He'd be an upgrade at the QB position. That much I truly believe. |

Don't want this guy......ESPECIALLY considering his lack of mobility and our OL. Would be bloody.

Oh noes.........we're heading towards another Alex sucks thread! Let's see if I can avoid this shrewd ploy. No, I'm saying Rivers wouldn't last long enough to throw said checkdowns. Whew, that was close. |

Rivers gets banged up a lot. He's always injured....last season he battling rib/back injuries. The dude has a ton of heart though and outstanding values.
It seems like he's a San Diegan more than a Charger. I don't think he goes to another team. I think he retires at the end of the year if the Chargers move to L.A.

This talk of moving to Los Angeles for any team is a pipedream at this point because there is no stadium.
The USC campus is about to undergo a $1 billion dollar renovation and neither they or the city want an NFL team in the Coliseum. The citizens of Pasadena do not want an NFL game at the Rose Bowl ten times a year. Kroenke's project will take years and there is already opposition to building a stadium on his recently purchased property. I just can't see it happening anytime soon. |

Hell, if they were going to do that, they woulda done it year ago and sold it to AEG and play at Farmers Field. It won't happen.

Oh, I know it won't happen but it's ridiculous for them to expect a city and state to build them a $1 billion dollar stadium.

They already know they won't get a 2/3's vote and are developing financing plans that won't require a vote.

The City seems to have something up their sleeve. They've already acknowledged that they won't be getting a 2/3rds vote for tax payer money and have claimed that they've found alternative ways to finance a stadium, part of that may include a 1billion dollar Bridge loan from the county that would be paid back via the taxes from the new developments around the stadium.
