Anyone here doing the E-Cig / Vape thing?

Thanks to my vape, I've had only one single cigarette in the past 3 weeks. I have zero cravings for them and I feel considerably better. In fact, I still have about 5 smokes left in a pack and just can't see myself smoking those... don't want to.

Even better... 5ml of juice, which costs $5, lasts me about 2 weeks meaning that I am spending less in the long run. I only smoked, at most, a pack a week... but still.

I tried the Blu E-Cigs but they were terrible. Trying to "smoke" out of one of those was like trying to take a hit off a joint that was rolled WAY to tight.

I'm using an eGo-V v2 mega battery with variable voltage control with a gravity tank.

Best of luck, dude. I thought when I drank would be difficult for me too, but not having to get up, find my cigs and lighter, and get outside I am able to sit on the comfort of my couch and get the nicotine in, while sipping on my beverage of choice. It really has made life better.

Just another update regarding my coils. I'm using the Tiger coil (60W-80W, 0.33 ohms) on a Horizon Arctic V8. I've had the same coil in for two weeks and vaped easily over 100 milliliters of 70%+ VG fluid through it at 65W to 70W. Still going strong - flavorful and puffy.

remember the more PG the more throat hit mimicking a cig, the more VG the more smoke... If you are addicted bad to regular cigs go for about 40% PG in your juice

My advice there is to find flavors that compliment the beverage. A pastry flavor goes nice with coffee, for example. One night I was out drinking screwdrivers, and had a vanilla flavored juice that made the screw driver taste like an orange cream soda. My biggest hiccups come when I'm drinking beer, because nothing goes together like cigarettes and beer...

I used to smoke cigars and pipes, I have a small pipe collection with some of my dad's (RIP) old pipes in there. I have been eyeballing pipe mods off and on because it just looks like fun. Perfect for kicking back after a meal. Check this shit out.

I'm all about the NFL draft right now and I'm having fun looking at draft related media, but I just got a package of liquid in and I wanted to explain how I get it ready while it is fresh in my mind. I don't make my own fluid. You can do that by buying all the ingredients if you want. There are sites for nicotine, flavoring, PG and VG that you can use. It's not all that complicated but it is time consuming and messy, and you'll have to play around with a lot to get what you want. But I don't do that. Here is what I do:

Start with a high nic fluid with a strong flavor at 100% PG. I used a 135 milliliter bottle of Honey Flue Cured from http://www.mister-e-liquid.com/ for $45, and I selected 24 mgs of nicotine and no VG when I ordered it. Shipping is free if your order is over 50 bucks, so I also ordered a 10 ml bottle of Rough Neck at 24 mgs nic and no VG for $5.75 because I hadn't tried it yet. That brought my total to $50.75 out the door.

I also purchased a 177 milliliter bottle of USP VG from a local drug store. Prices for this vary, but if you look around and grab the larger bottles you can get all of the VG you need to do this for about five bucks.

OK, so all you do is mix the juice you buy online with the VG that you buy in a store. I'll break it down in steps to make it easier to understand. Your juice is starting at 24 mgs nic and 100% PG. If you mix it in even amounts with your VG, you now have juice that is 12 mgs nic and 50%PG-50%PG. That's a pretty good spot for people who don't sub ohm. Now do it again: If you mix that with VG, you now have juice that is 6 mgs nic and 75%VG-25%PG. That just happens to be a great spot for sub ohm vaping.

I am sub ohm vaping at about 67 Watts and my set up blows through the juice. But I just basically spent $50 on 540 milliliters of 6 nic 75/25 fluid. That's less then 10 cents a ml. You know those cool looking glass bottles with the built in dropper lids you see at vape shops? I just made one for three bucks. I actually use one of those little bottles to mix my stuff in and do it by eye. I had gotten my nic down pretty low for a while but I started getting crazy urges to smoke and stepped my nic level back up again, so this juice is really doing it for me. Tastes like a really nice cigar.

I had quit completely for about 2 to 3 months by dropping the nic level over time to zero. Problem is the wife can't stop and even went back to buying cigs. She could have quit as well because we were sharing juice and she didn't realize I had been dropping it down. My mistake was I told her, I think she was actually a little pissed. Now I'm back to taking an occasional puff when drinking beer.

That sucks but it happens. Just roll with it, and do what you can do.

Have no fear. The assholes won't win. They can't. It's too easy and too cheap to make juice yourself. I don't do it because I'm lazy and I'm not poor. I do mix my own up though because I'm a thrifty Scot, and making your own juice is just one level of complexity away from that:

1) Purchase large quantities of high strength nicotine in USP grade PG: http://www.nicvape.com/Diluted-Nicotine

3) Purchase flavors that sound appealing to you:http://www.nicvape.com/E-Flavors

4) Mix them properly. Bear in mind that you can get 100mg/mL nic fluid in PG and you are going to dilute it down with VG. I would recommend getting the nic level and VG/PG ration correct before you start with the flavoring. The flavoring will be in some combination of VG/PG so it will affect the final product.

5) Tell the FDA to go **** themselves because you just made your own e-juice. The FDA can kiss my ass.

Yeah, I have heard that Black Note is high quality. I get my stuff from Mister E Liquid and they have a really nice selection at a great price though. I am diluting their PG based fluid down to 25/75 and getting great flavor paying 10 cents a milliliter.
