After that last inning the Cards broadcast showed a view in the left field bleachers that looked like whatever brick structure they built out there blocked off that entire corner of the outfield from view of the seats behind. Is that a thing?

I think I was overly confident in the Cubs' ability to tee off on a 6+ ERA pitcher struggling to throw strikes and then actually do something besides weakly ground out when he hangs a curveball.

Maybe by the time the All-Star game comes around Maddon will try something a little different with the lineup. That ego trying to prove everyone and the numbers wrong.
