When it comes to Apple people are more deranged than politics or religion.

Has Apple lost it's damn mind?

Why release a 7" tablet that has a worse display than every other device you sell AND is even worse than the competition who are selling theirs for over $100 less???

When Google drops it's prices next week (very likely) the iPad Mini will look even dumber.

Yea, kinda thinking the same thing. But then again, alot of consumers have shown they are more than willing to overpay for all things "Apple" and the Apple name.

It's a 7.9 inch screen, Schiller broke down the specifics in the keynote of how it stacks up against the nexus tablet. The only downers are its using the same specs from the Ipad 2, so when they said it's not so much that we shrank down an ipad its that we made it better. Nah, you shrank down the Ipad 2 and release it with the 4. People will buy it but imo the new IMacs were far more impressive, Mac Mini as well.

I'm one of the folks that bought the 3 in March so now 6 months later I'm one of the slightly disappointed customers.

Well, that should kill their iPod Touch sales being the mini is only $30 more.

Except that the mini has a crap display compared to the touch (which is massively over priced as well)

Not necessarily. I love my iPod Touch, especially my newer one with the camera in it. (Not the brand-new one with the awesome camera; the cheaper last-week model.) It's small and thin enough to carry in my pocket, but versatile enough to surf the 'Net and do some website business in a pinch. Combined with my mobile hotspot, I can whip it out (no homo), check sports scores, browse CP, check my email and Facebook, upload a pic I just took, and then put it back in my pants (no homo). I have no need for an iPhone (or a pricey iPhone plan) so the Touch is great for me.

im very dissapointed with my ipod touch right now. The ****ing battery is shit and i have had it less then a freaking year. I cant do ANYTHING but listen to music on it. If i try to wifi it or play games or anything, the battery drains in like 10 min! 100-0 in about 10-15 min with wifi on and playing words with friends or using the facebook app. Downloading podcasts drains it even faster.

I can listen to music with the screen off for hours though. haha

If you've had it less than a year, then you have some options. First, I'd completely back up all your data, and restore it to factory, and copy data back. If that doesn't fix it, then take it back to the Apple store and tell them what's up. Cause that's not normal. If it's less than a year old, it's still covered.

How are you charging it?
Have you completely reset it to see if that helps? You can hold the power button down for 15 seconds, which will let you power it off. You might have an app that's going crazy.
