Nice performance. It took too long but we could have a legit playoff rotation right now. Duffy as an ace, Ventura and Kennedy are pitching well behind him. If we had a bullpen this team would be dangerous right now.

Technically Ventura had a CG a couple starts ago in Texas. Went all 8 innings but lost 3-2. Rangers didn't have to bat in the 9th. Still counts as a CG.

3) he ditched the curveball in favor of a slider, which matches his arm slot better and he can throw for strikes or bury for swing and miss

4) he changed the grip on his changeup and turned it into a big time swing and miss weapon.

Pretty cool evolution. Hope it's here to stay.
