Post any interesting thoughts - feel free to create a new thread that flows with the timing of the actual draft.

A few of my thoughts.

I'll say we get Byron Murphy first pick and then possibly manage to get Justice Hill later than expected due to last year's injury.

Players I wouldn't mind:

-- Ed Oliver (duh)
-- Nasir Adderley (again, 'duh')
-- M. Brown
-- AJ Brown
-- Hakeem Butler
-- Rock Ya Sin
-- Fant (doubt it)
-- Hockenson (don't see Brett drafting 1st round)
-- Deebo Samuel (not at 29 but should fall) (BIG FAN here!) value pick?
-- Justice Hill (absolutely should fall) (BIG FAN here!) value pick?

Veach has mentioned them looking for long corners a couple of times.

Could totally see them liking Williams a lot and keeping it low key so he can possibly tumble a little closer to 29.

I’m pretty easy to please this year...here’s a list of guys I’d be excited about in the first. I may have missed a couple.

I expect these guys to be gone before we pick, pushing that talent down.

That’s 10 guys that will likely be chosen before we pick, that we don’t want. That means that picks 20-29 are gonna be super interesting for us. If it gets to our pick and there are still 5 guys we like, I’m sure there will be an opportunity to move down and add an extra third. Or maybe an elite guy falls to 18-23 and we move up for him.

It’s gonna be fun.

Also, can’t forget that Breeland said just a few days ago that the staff had told him they plan to play man coverage a lot....

Greedy is the best pure man to man corner in the draft. I think there’s some smoke potentially there. He checks a lot of the boxes, and even though there is the tackling question, I’ve watched a few games—it’s not that he isn’t willing, he just doesn’t look very good at it. So I don’t think motivation is an issue at all.
