Maybe Pederson should get a turn calling plays. He knows the offense as well as anyone.

Please don't start an "Appreciation" thread after a loss.

It just doesn't work.

ever noticed how whenever the tv broadcast shows a wide angle shot of the field, the chiefs receivers rarely have separated from coverage

Can't always go off of the tv view either. All this is happening fast, most of the time in under 4 seconds. If a receiver gets separation from the defender after the qb has already looked his way while he was blanketed and then went to his next progression and looked elsewhere on the field its kinda a moot point. Just saying the tv view can be deceiving.

I still don't get it why we didn't draft Kelvin Benjamin or a WR in later rounds. Dorsey must've knew that Bowe's suspension would void his guarantees. Could've drafted Kelvin and released Bowe. Save tons of $$$$ in the process.

A couple things:

1) 3rd and 24 and you let a guy go up the middle for 23 fuggin' yards? On the ground? The defense screwed the pooch hard on that.

2) Yes, we got screwed on that fumble that was not a fumble...and the off sides thing.

3) Santos looking more and more like a huge stupid move. Add to the list...

4) Alex was good yesterday. Solid. Even brilliant at times. But he did have some wide open horrible throws.

5) You can't blame the O line today. Damn fine job.

6) Jamaal. Goddammit...

Good notes, yeah. The OL did have a large number of screen and run block fails, as expected. That's got to get better.. looked a bit better already from week 1 to 2.

A QB appreciation thread when your team loses, scores only 17 points and the QB doesn't throw a TD pass?

If the 49ers still had Smith, they'd have won last night easily.

Goodness! I came to post this exact quote and you beat me to it. Damn straight Alex would've won that game.

That new stadium is cursed, BTW. Lost their first game ever like 28-0 then lose this one? Candlestick is putting a hex on Levi.
