Gotta think we might make a stab at this one.

He provided a nice boost when we desperately needed one

But his time has come and gone, draft another guy or bring in a younger veteran

I would, because when he was here last go round, with this same staff, he played well. He's gotta know he can't demand much by way of salary. I think he's worth throwing into the mix with what we have. I'd still try and address the OL via draft at some point regardless.

Again, where's he going to play? Not right tackle.

He has zero chance of beating out Morse, Fulton, LDT, Reid and most likely, Pughsley.

He's 30 years old and has been unavailable to play 19 out of the last 32 games.

This team is getting younger, not older.

We still don't know what changed things the most or if it was an accumulation.

I get your point...But if he were able to play at the same level he played at last time, he can beat out both Fulton and LDT. But I also get that they have way more upside. So, you're probably right.

LDT should be moved to and compete for the RT spot.

The problem is tying up cap room and a roster space on a player that's been unable to stay healthy.

In many ways, he's not unlike Jeff Allen, another guy I hope the Chiefs move on from this offseason.

Some guys just don't have NFL bodies.

So you're penciling in either Morse or Reid at RG?

Personally, I can see Morse at LG, which would fill a need. Reid's a valuable swing guy but he also played much better inside than at right tackle.

One thing that I've been questioning lately is this: How does LDT, as a doctor in training and resident in the offseason, feel about his own concussion?

Will it affect his play on the field and his passion for football?

If the Chiefs are paying attention, Fulton will no longer be at guard. He will be at center and Morse will be at guard.

Fisher,Morse,Fulton,RG,RT

Let LDT,Pughsley and Reid fight it out at RG ... we need to find a quality RT.

I doubt that Allen will be back. He sounded irritated about being moved around so often by the Chiefs. Since him getting injured so often was a large reason for him getting moved, i don't know how the Chiefs are going to assure him it won't happen again.

I would be starting Fulton at center and Morse at LG.

Draft interior line (center and guard) to compete with Pughsley, who showed some promise in the preseason, at RG.

Draft a RT prospect to compete with LDT.

I think the athletic ability he sowed in his pre-draft workouts suggest he has LT athletic ability, and the strength to hold up against more physical DEs.

It's all about improving technique.

Right now, he still plays too high, and looks like he is still thinking too much.

He has the physical attributes and athletic ability to be a dominating OT.
