I like him a **** ton better than Van Gundy, Brooks, or Jackson, and I even like his proven coaching ability over a still relative unknown in Luke Walton. Was hoping we'd try to poach off Joerger from Memphis, but I can't really complain. He's a top 3 available head coach candidate. That's a far cry better than the Wolves usually are able to get.

I'm happy. If you people (especially Bulls fans) want to try to wipe this smile off my face, go ahead, but it's not going to happen. Thibs is as good of a guy for the position that we could have had.
That's a great hire. Bulls have been shit without him

you're a wolves fan? congrats. That team is looking to blossom reaally soon. They even have a 30% chance at a top three pick this year which is insane if they can land Ingram/simmons. KAT, Wiggins, Rubio, Lavine? really nice core.

I'm sorry.

Knowing the Wolves luck, Thibs will be underachieve, and Wiggins and Towns will both split after he can't get it done, but I really don't know if there's a single coach the Wolves could possibly hire who WOULDN'T give me that battered fan deep deep down feeling of dread

CLEVELAND -- Detroit Pistons rookie Stanley Johnson didn't hold back in his assessment of how he thinks he has defended Cavaliers star LeBron James over the first two games of their Eastern Conference first-round series.

"I'm definitely in his head, that's for sure," Johnson said after a 107-90, Game 2 loss to the Cavs. "That's for sure."
Quote:
"He jabbers," Johnson said of James. "He moves his mouth sometimes. Their whole team does, kind of like their little cheerleaders on the bench. Every time you walk in the right corner. They're always saying something like they're playing basketball, like they're actually in the game. There's only seven or eight players who play. I don't see why the other players are talking. They might as well just be in the stands, in my opinion."

Johnson thought that the timing of James' words could be better.

"I wish he would just talk when [the game] is 0-0, not when he's up 16," Johnson said. "I think that's more -- that means something. That means you're confident in yourself. You believe what you're about to do. Don't talk after you made a couple shots. Anybody can do that."
Quote:
According to ESPN Stats & Information, James has scored 15 points on 7-for-9 shooting against Johnson as his primary defender in the series. James was 6-for-6 against Johnson for 13 points on Wednesday.

They went deep into playoffs un 2008 and 09.
That qualifies as successful and brings revenue during building of stadium.

In all seriousness though he has bad ankles and he said last night he probably wouldn't go tonight since it still hurts but is getting better. I imagine he will be back for Game 4, unless they are up 3-0 then I would sit him.

OKC and the Mavs really don't like each other. Some good physical play and some almost fights in this game
