Didn't TO run like a 4.6....same w/ Jerry Rice?

Not saying DMC will ever be Rice or TO, but judging a WR by their 40 time is silly.

If it judges anything at all, 40times judge flat line breakaway speed. Is it good to be fast? Yes, Randy Moss and Mike Wallace are examples that running fast fly routes down field can be successful. But just because a WR runs a 4.5 40time doesn't make them any lesser of a WR than someone with a 4.3 time. And really there's not much difference between the 2 speeds in real time.

Daboll showed the ability to elevate the game of Reggie Bush...maybe he uses similar tactics to help Dexter.

Had this same thought during the game Friday.

He seems to do well when coaching quick, elusive guys like Bush and Cribbs. Lets hope he does the same with Charles, Dex, and Wylie.

Anquan Boldin ran a 4.75 IIRC. 40s don't mean as much as people make them out to be, at every position. I remember when teams weren't gonna draft Suggs because he ran a poor 40. Genius.

All Breaston did was establish a rep as one of the best slot guys in the ****ING ENTIRE NFL in Arizona.

of course the guys you are speaking of aren't 5'8" and 160 pounds like McCluster.

McCluster is expendable. That's a good thing. He won't see much time if the rest are healthy. At least I don't see how.

It's a giant ****ing myth that McCluster has elite quickness, moves, and/or speed. He's totally unremarkable.

The only decision he makes is whether to spin move left or spin move right before getting blown up.

Fact is, this offseason, the coaches have talked about what a great route runner he is, and how excited Daboll is to see what he can do in this offense.

Not to mention McCluster finds the endzone once if not more just about each and every training camp practice while Breaston is seldom mentioned at all.

How is Breaston a better slot guy for us? He hasn't really shown shit since he's been here. Who's to say the coaches don't leave him out wide behind Baldwin and Bowe and let McCluster and Wylie run the slot? McCluster is a better fit for exploiting match ups. Especially when the defense actually has to account for the first two receivers.
