Favorite Obscure Characters From Movies or TV Shows?!?!?
Today I was watching A Christmas Story and after watching the part where Ralphie meets Santa, I thought to myself, "ya know...that weird kid with the aviator glasses and cap who is all creepy and says, 'I like Santa. I like the Tin Man' could just be my favorite obscure character from any movie ever." You know which character I'm talking about? Kid has that weird smile on his face the entire time and just smiles at Ralphie. This kid right here:





I started thinking about some of my other favorite characters who had small parts in movies and shows that I like... What are some of yours?

Craig Feldspar (recurring) and better yet, his dad, Vic, who was on one episode of Malcolm In the Middle.



The episode the dad was in was funny as hell. Craig begs Dewey, Reese and Malcolm to teach him how to fight, for a bully was coming into town. When the bully showed up, it was his dad...a dude who wore jump-suits, had a lisp and was terribly ashamed of Craig being a big, fat, Dungeons and Dragons wuss.

Some of his quotes in that episode were hilarious. My favorite:

Vic: Hi, nithe to meet you. I'm Vic Feldthpar. I'm Craigth' father, I gueth. (Hi, I'm Vic Feldspar. I'm Craig's father, I guess).

Craig: Father?!?! You wouldn't even claim me at the father-son picnic last year!!!

Vic: "Oh thorry I wathn't thwelling with pride when I watched you thuck the butter off of other peopleth' corn cobth! (Oh sorry I wasn't swelling with pride when I watched you suck the butter off of other people's corn cobs!)

Great show, just great. Another good obscure character on that show was the head of Francis' military school.
