I hate to say it, but we're careening towards a fire-sale much sooner than we anticipated.
A lot of these guys get passes with me because they ended the dark ages for us fans in '15.....but man, there is just not a lot of energy/passion out there. Hosmer especially looks ridiculous - the weird thing is, I dont think I saw one AB for hosmer in the WBC that has been as bad as 3/4 of his ABs have been so far this season. And it wasnt like he was facing chump pitchers throwing spring-training sessions.

Interesting that if we have a 'fire sale' it means we sucked this year, and the values of the players will be lower than if we were doing great. Probably not a whole lot lower, though.
