Madden 16
Has anybody picked this up already and had a chance to play it yet.

How is it ? Is it any better than last years ? pros and cons. How good are the chiefs on it.

Yup. Ps2 style madden's gameplay will always conquer all. It's by far the best out of any football sim. That is why Madden 08 is a blessing in disguise.

Roster update is out they already have Aldon Smith as a Raider but not a OLB he a LE.

so Madden 16 is pretty accurate when it comes to the Chiefs.

I decided to play as a player/QB in connected franchise. Sat as a 3rd stringer for most of the first year, then moved up to 2nd string. off season rolls around, and the Chiefs cut Alex, and promote me to 1st String. I proceed to rape faces and win a Super Bowl. off season comes around and I had 21 contract offers from teams......and the Chiefs weren't one of them.

so I chose the Bills. their playbook is pretty damn fun so far.

I looked at the 360 version of Madden and the reviews on Amazon are bad. I think I'll skip this year. I'm still playing 2015 and it is okay.

I've simulated through a couple off seasons now and that was the issue that jumped out at me most. Every offseason there are far too many marquis players in FA. Franchise QBs and stuff like that. Andrew Luck was on the FA market during one simulation.

I started a franchise as a created QB. Balanced QB, undrafted.

It's fun in the sense that you're basically getting sabotaged the entire ****ing time. I can't count the number of times Jamaal and Knile would pick the wrong hole or receivers would dick around and get minimal gains with no defenders in sight.

Having short and medium accuracy in the low 70s also makes it damn near impossible to be truly effective. I'm essentially Alex Smith. I don't even bother looking at anyone beyond 12 yards of the LOS for fear of throwing an errant pass.

It's really challenging.
