Madden 16

Has anybody picked this up already and had a chance to play it yet.

How is it ? Is it any better than last years ? pros and cons. How good are the chiefs on it.

It's fun in the sense that you're basically getting sabotaged the entire ****ing time. I can't count the number of times Jamaal and Knile would pick the wrong hole or receivers would dick around and get minimal gains with no defenders in sight.

Having short and medium accuracy in the low 70s also makes it damn near impossible to be truly effective. I'm essentially Alex Smith. I don't even bother looking at anyone beyond 12 yards of the LOS for fear of throwing an errant pass.

It's really challenging.
Every EA sports game has scripting. It's sad, but true.

This is 100% accurate. I'm an undrafted qb as well. Now with the Bills, LeSean McCoy is reeruned more often than not. Dive plays, he will run up to the line, the head right or left and run parallel to the line for a yard. I basically have to use a short passing game as my running game. Screens and play action passes are worthless. Draws are usually worthless. But overall pretty fun.

beat the #22 and #100 ranked guys last night. my rank still suck because i dont have time to grind out games every night. stupid point system. it amazes me how these guys get top ranked and they run the same 3-5 plays on offense, and sit in some form of cover 3 all game. i usually tell them on the mic to stop running so much cov 3 or ill start taking the top off their d. ****ing conley 94 speed and good spec catch, send him down the seam off a play action and lob it right as he reaches the safety. i had a nice custom playbook pretty much 90% runs with only 4-5 gun formations. running game this year is real if you can read a hole.

So I beat the Broncos 42-14 Jamaal Charles rushed for 222 yards and two touchdowns good for him and a fumble figures.

Any whoo why do I think PS2 Madden was funner to play? I liked the playcalling and control of the players way better. IDK I'm not thrilled on this Madden just yet but maybe in time?

I wish the player career mode was like NBA 2k series. I'm not even a basketball guy, but that shit was fun. Would be nice to play as a LB or CB and get points for your development if you do what you're suppose to do during the play. Coverage, seal the edge, fill a Hole, etc. as it is now it sort of blows unless you're a QB or RB.

My mother in law bought this for me because I've been pretty bummed out with the job/medical bullshit lately. Very nice of her. Though I still stand by my feeling that this should be a $35-40 game considering what it is etc. I'm having fun with it for now. Have t dove into the franchise mode yet. Just been playing as a QB
