This is why I'd rather have guys like Burke than Withey. I wanna have both but it's all about guard play. And I'm sick and tired of us not shooting well. Hopefully this 2nd ranked recruiting class coming in can switch it up. I love me some D, it's what wins but we need some f'ing offense for crying out loud. Reminds me of Martyball lol.

Exactly this. Although I do think it was strange that KU didn't shoot one FT in the entire first half. But that's not why they lost this game. They had it in hand until EJ went brain dead. Same thing he has done in a few other games (OSU at Allen Fieldhouse?). And did anyone else notice how he was lackadaisical bringing the ball up on that last possession? WTF EJ? I hate to say it but I am not sad to see him go.

Surprising to see KU piss away that game. Combination of two things, IMO:

1. Self royally ****ed up by leaving McLemore on the bench for too long while Michigan started its run.
2. And you were Pressey'd--Hamas used the term in this thread, but I literally said it while I was watching the game.

It took 3 3-pointers from 5 ft behind the line to tie the game. Kudos to Michigan...it's like VCU all over again. Chuck it from the cheap seats and pray...if they go in, there's a good chance you win.

Ridiculous and unnecessary. Johnson should have been on the bench much more in the second half for the cock punch alone. On the one hand it's tough to guard 30 foot 3s, so good on Burke for making them, but I think if you have to replay the end of regulation you let them take those every time. Too bad. I feel bad for Withey and Releford the most.
