It's def dark and gritty a bit but not as shocking or as far as they could've went with it. If you've read the source it matches up pretty well

I think I'll pass then. Check out some other dc movies instead or just read the comic which got a lot of good reviews on amazon.

I was pretty disappointed by this. I'm not the biggest fan of the source book, but still looked forward to the adult material and Hamill/Conroy. They were both great as usual but the things that really bugged me were

It really is. Definitely my favorite animated Batman movie. Well Mask of the Phantasm is pretty close.

Damn, Mask of the Phantasm? That's the 90s flick?

I legit haven't heard about that in at least a decade. I was young but I remember loving it. I'll have to see if I can find a copy to watch.

Pretty much the starting point for the animated features, at least aimed at someone other than just kids, though MotP was in the theatres. The rest have been pretty much straight to home release. I remember going to see it over Christmas break with a few of my cousins. It & The Animated Series are still gorgeous in the art deco motif.

That was really good. I was impressed. Helped me understand the Joker a little bit more, why he hates the world and Batman so much.

I think a lot of "bad guys," also are the same. For whatever reason they don't fit into society or had something terrible happen to them that they blame on the world which gives them a lot of hate.

Well done comic movie. Must watch for all Batman but especially Joker fans.

The whole beginning part with Batgirl. Especially her and Batman getting it on. I never thought of them like...that. And I'll be honest I don't care for the Joker's origin story much. And the ending was just weird. All in all it was decent but nothing compared to Under the Red Hood and a couple of the others
