I have seen this reaction from a lil white poodle. Old house in Leavenworth Kan my friends mom owned.
Dog would not go into the TV room. Story was in WWI the hubby was killed in Europe & she killed herself in that room the following year drinking some kind of poison.
I spent 10 or 12 nights in the house back in my teens. we would go down for the weekends & hunt the hills around Leavenworth. Most un-scary haunted house ever.
