1) Arik Armstead, DT
2) Jake Fisher, OT 3) Grasu Hroniss, C 4) Ifo Ekpre-Olomu, CB 5) Chris Conley, WR (Sorry. I couldn't find any that could match up with the rest of the draft so here is Dorsey's token combine warrior) 6) Erick Dargan, SS 7) Derrick Malone, OLB |

as of right now ol round 1. peat clemmings, flowers, sherff
wr round 2 smith, hardy, lockett, perriman, mcbride etc. but its still way to early imo. if bowe stays we wouldnt need to sign any wr's eariler than round 4 unless a guy falls. if we cant sign a safety that will be a major hole and we could go safety as early as roumd 1 if collins falls. or that soft bitch holliman in round 2 or 3. tartt round 2. if we can sign a guy like robb simms, and jake long(i have absolutely no idea what his value is now, can't imagine its very high though) that drastically changes where we need to draft, at that point we'd need a S and 2nd wr. so on so forth, we'll have to see what the roster looks like when FA shakes out. |

names that could be focus of chiefs 1st pick..
Cameron erving could probably step in and replace Hudson, or fit in at guard or tackle if kush becomes viable option at center the dlineman Jordan Phillips from Oklahoma could be a fit, if his back checks out--has the ungodly measurable Dorsey likes, could fit in at def end while poe plays the nose and move to nose if poe cant be resigned when his contract is up could they take green beckham with the idea that maclin mentors him? |

I don't think Maclin changes anything for the draft. You are basically swapping a declining Bowe with a rising Maclin. You still only have 1 proven WR on the roster.
Best available player with a tie going to need.

Trade ahead of Chip "dump all my good players" Kelly for Mariota
Even if he sucks it will be wildly entertaining to watch his ass squirm. |

Really though, holding out hope that they pick up Lockett or Petty there. I doubt either one is available to us in the second.
Go ahead, kick my ass for Petty. He probably shouldn't be taken that high, but FFS, Flacco should have been like a third rounder. |

If you combine need with most big board rankings the prospects would seem to be L. Collins, Collins (safety), Parker, Peat.

There is a huge drop off at the position and overall talent pool when it comes to ILB in this years draft. I think we address it within the first three rounds.

Kevin Johnson CB Wake Forest
Tall and long CB who had among the best vertical, 3 cone, 20 yard and broad jump at the combine. Very smooth hip transition and is the best man cover CB in this draft IMO. This guy is very good in coverage and has a nasty demeanor. Very good tackler in space as well. And it makes perfect sense to take him. CB is very thin in this draft, it's one of the biggest positions needed in today's NFL, it would give us great depth at a position we didn't have enough at last year (Ron Parker was taking CB snaps it was that bad at times) and Sean Smith is in a contract year while we need to pay Houston and then Poe shortly after. Seriously. Look this kid up. He looks a natural fit here.
