There have been a lot of people upset at Dorsey for "holding on" to players for too long and being loyal. Today was a big dent in that theory.

Chiefs can't get rid of these players yet, but I wouldn't be surprised to see Tamba or DJ or both cut next year if they don't provide the kind of production we need.

If he didn't blow out his knee he would have been a HOF candidate. Not enough years played or in significant games to even be seriously considered

Yeah this definitely sucks as a fan. There were a lot of years when Charles was one of the best reasons to watch the Chiefs on Sunday.

He has nearly 1,000 more yards from scrimmage than Terrell Davis and had one more healthy season. Plus, he averaged 0.9 more yards per run than Davis. It's a no-brainer that a team would rather have Jamaal for his career than Davis for his.

Oh, wait. Davis does guest spots on television. That's the difference, I guess.

GB and NYG seem like the best fits
I could live with seeing him in Green Bay, he would still be able to scorch people with Rodgers keeping defenses honest

the difference is TD actually won playoff games and a Super Bowl

I hate TD as much as the next but Charles isnt getting a pass cause Fat Scott and Mark Castle ruined his prime on dumpster trash teams

No brainer .. ha.

Charles was more prolific as a pass catcher, certainly with nearly 1200 more receiving yards - that's really the big difference.

Davis started 77 games (7 years) and Charles 68 (9 years).
Davis has 65 regular season TDs and Charles 63.

The big difference is the post season success and with an 8 to 2 advantage, there's no contest there. And, the HOF is about the body of work - it's not just a regular season deal.

sure there have been some really good qb's for short runs. once their physical skills deteriorate, then the brain has to make up the difference. most if not all long term quarterbacks end up being white, aside from warren moon, but he's white on the inside..
