I hope they can bring him back on a reduced salary. But if not, it was great to have him on the team and he was soooooo much fun to watch with the ball in his hands.

Statement from Clark:
"On behalf of my family and the entire Kansas City Chiefs team, I'd like to thank Jamaal Charles for his contributions and dedication over the last nine seasons. Jamaal has been one of the most prolific players in our organization's history and I have an enormous amount of respect for what he's accomplished. He'll always be a part of the Chiefs family, and we'll be ready to honor him for his outstanding playing career when the time is right." |

I'm sure he will be signed somewhere soon and get to a training camp. I hope he's able to keep playing if he wants to, and he's able to be healthy.
If I were Charles, I might just hang them up and play with my kids. Not worth going through more injuries and surgeries. He doesn't have much left to prove or (realistically) accomplish. |

Alvin Kamara is still my guy if he falls to the 2nd. If not, there are quite a few options available in the draft. This is a DAMN good year to have a lot of picks; this draft is DEEEEEEP.

Always tough to see a guy like that go, but he's a 10 year guy that's been on a downward slide for 3 years. Playing in 8 games the last two seasons, only starting 5... cutting bait at the right time, doubt it comes back to haunt you.
