{Knock on wood}, but Houston is also more likely to remain at his elite status for a longer period of time than Miller because he relies more on strength while Miller relies mostly on speed.

I loved how on Houston's first sack, he went for the Von Miller special where he just went and tried to pull the ball away from Brady. If he gets good at that, he will create many more turnovers.

Yeah, here is a video of exactly what I'm talking about from Miller --> https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5dk0KqS2Pb4
And here is Houston attempting it on Brady at the 1:22 mark --> http://www.kcchiefs.com/media-center...0-982ef0c9425b If he can do that consistently, a lot of QBs are gonna cough it up. |

J Houston needs to get it done in the playoffs like Von Miller did if he wants to be considered just as good. Von Miller was so dominant the last year Broncos won their SB it was almost impossible to pass on the Broncos because he would get to the QB so quick. I want to see J Houston get it done in the playoffs before I say he is as good as Von Miller. So far in his career when playoffs come J Houston is usually hurt or a no show. I don't think the gap is as big as most ppl make it seem though. J Houston is absolutely awesome when he is healthy... |

I'd say Houston makes a strong run at the sack record again this year...
Of course, it will be tough because I am sure he will get chipped half of the time if not more. But that still has a huge impact on the game as it takes a RB or TE out of a pass play. Luckily we have Ford, Jones, Logan, Bailey, and hopefully Hali to apply pressure all over the front. Ford got close several times Thursday night and Logan did too. Logan dominated in 1v1 situations, while Jones typically ate double teams. Bailey played the most snaps on the DL and he showed his Hulk-like capabilities when he pushed their RG straight into Brady. I really like this front seven. |

There was a play where Ford just went right down the line and smoked the running back. Commentators didn't say anything but it was ****ing loud.

Don't want to derail the thread but what was with the play where Ford decided he would rush by backpedaling into the LT?

One of the stupidest things I've seen. It was like he tried a spin move but got stopped halfspin. The LT just bearhugged him at that stage.

I never once said they didn't I merely said there is more to Smitty's 2-4 playoff record than meets the eye
Smitty's playoff stats are good so I have no idea what you are talking about. 12 TDs 2 INTs 60 compl% 94.5 Passer Rating... |
