If you stay at one of the hotels nearby, you can just walk. Drury comes to mind, but stay away from Adams Mark (Bed Bugs)

You can uber in, but they have to drop you and pick you up quite a ways away I think. Not sure.
Just drive in. Pay for parking before on the app so you don't have to pay 60 bucks. I prefer coming in off stadium on the west side. |

Get your parking pass early online if you are parking there if you can. And if you arrive early enough, you can pick where you park (at least that was the case last year when I went). After the game, if you are not in a hurry to leave, hang out at the car and chill as everyone leaves. That is pretty much our strategy for every Chiefs game we go to...

girlfriend from out of town got us Royals tickets a few years ago and got a room there before asking me about it... wasn't the best.. definitely immediately checked the bed for bed bugs. The whole hotel smells like a swimming pool as well.

I don't have a ton of experience with driving to NFL stadiums, but man...Arrowhead is a bitch to get out of compared to the Broncos' stadium. The parking lots here are really distributed, so a lot of people end up parking at the nearby college campus or at lots for the Pepsi Center or Elitch Gardens. The last time I went to a game there I think I was on the highway at 60+ mph in about 10 minutes from stepping food outside of the stadium gate.
Of course, having everyone spread out like that means that the tailgating here is shit, so there's that. Anyway, this adds nothing to the thread really. I was just surprised after not going for years at how long it took to get out of there. It definitely made things a little stressful in getting to the airport on time. |
