Chiefs in a tight contest. last year they benefited from horrible QB play from Hoyer. Some caused by them, some self inflicted by the Texans. I dont think they can produce the pressure right now to get similar results from Ossweiler.

Still, Chiefs should be able to grind out a win. 27-24

It's Reid vs. Crennel. Reid knows how to beat Crennel. Chiefs win a close one.

Make no mistake; the Chiefs are the better team here.

That being said, I'm going to say the Texans pull out a close one. They're at home, we're on the road at their place for the third straight time. It's hard to beat a solid team 3 straight times on their home field. We're still missing two of our best players in Charles and Houston. That will be a factor. The Texans also are VERY motivated to win this game. We didn't just beat them in the playoffs last year, we humiliated them in front of their own fans. They're gonna be out to prove something big time. Chiefs will have a hard time shutting down Hopkins and Fuller in the passing game and our run defense worries me.

So, again, Chiefs are the better team and will prove to be over the course of the season but I'm going with the Texans in this one, something like 27-20.

But hoping I'm wrong.

I said the Chiefs in a close one but I'm not going to lie, I think everything about this post is valid. I'm hoping we see the Chiefs of the second half of the Chargers game and not the first half. I think the players were overlooking SD and they could easily be doing the same thing with the Texans since they beat them twice. The Texans are better than SD and with 2 extremely talented recievers they could give us fits. I think Peters should guard Fuller and they should put our other corner on Hopkins with Safety help over the top.

Our D-line should be absolutely dominant at stopping the run, I'm hoping last week was a fluke. Our LB play might be the difference here.

Hopkins and Fuller

Game depends on how well we cover them

Offensively, it depends on which Andy Reid shows up.

Lots and lots of zone runs of the outside variety.

This would be great. Playing the Jets at home the following week gives us a great chance to be 3-0.

I'll take 3-1 with a bye before going to Oakland any day.
