Is Kansas City ashamed of the Chiefs??

So last night I was watching TV and they had a commercial on for "Come Visit Kansas City". The commercial higlights all the neat stuff in KC, including two mentions of the Royals...I've seen these commercials over the years and they NEVER mention the Chiefs...now, I recognize that it's a summer promotional thing, but damn, last I saw the Football season starts before the end of summer...

It just seems strange to me that over and over again they do NOT mention the Chiefs, but they DO mention the Royals...

...aaaaand I'm done pooping...

The Chiefs may sell out, but how many of those tickets go unused? Unused Chiefs tickets is more insulting than tickets that were never purchased to begin with. You don't see a lot of upper deck panorama shots on TV lately.

And generally speaking, attending a Royals game is a much more pleasant experience all around than going to a Chiefs game. But as has been mentioned, the add in question is really just going with the season.

It was funny when they sucked and we were mediocre... But they have been fortunate to be blessed with Manning and now Luck. I truly hate that franchise and side of the family... (kidding on hating my family)

This is where I'm at*. I stuck with the Chiefs out of civic loyalty, now that I'm moving, that stubborn turd has been wiggled off. I honestly don't know how the out of town guys and gals do it. The Chiefs could win the Super Bowl (), and I hope they do, and I'd just tip my cap from afar.

*I'm not picking up another NFL team to root for.

Two of those would have nothing to do with Manning or Rodgers.
