Video captures man beating, choking in-laws small dog to death

The dog tried to hide from him. Could you imagine the terror the little fella experienced?

I know its a dog, not a real person. But for us dog lovers, the family dog is a part of the family. How pissed does this guy have to be at his in-laws or wife? I think Bubba needs to get a hold of him in jail and have him experience some of that same terror. Video at the link

http://www.tampabay.com/news/publics...n-bail/2195062

Deputies arrested a Nokomis man Tuesday who they say beat and killed a small dachshund dog his in-laws asked him to watch.

Stacy Glover, 24, had been asked to look after the dog, named Athena, Aug. 8 at their family home in the 15000 block of Cutting Horse Trail in east Sarasota County.

When Athena's owners returned, Glover told them the dog had run away, the Sarasota County Sheriff's Office reported.

But the family had a security camera.

Deputies said the video shows Glover beating the dog and throwing her out the back door, several feet from the home, authorities said. When the dog tried to hide, Glover chased it, grabbed it, and beat it with his fists. Then Glover choked the dog and carried it back inside the home.

The camera then catches Glover walking out the back door with the lifeless dog into a nearby wooded area. He returns later without the dog.

The dog's remains were not found.

A veterinarian reviewed the video and said the excessive force would have likely killed the dog, authorities said.

Glover was charged with four felony counts of aggravated cruelty to an animal and one count of tampering with evidence. He was taken to the Sarasota County Jail, and was released Wednesday on $10,000 bail.

This piece of trash needs to take a dirt nap alongside the drunk driver from Texas. I think it's way past time to start thinning the herd.
