The interesting thing is that the Broncos organization wouldn't really have to negotiate trade compensation. Certainly the Broncos would have to approve the agreement, but it'll be on Payton himself to negotiate compensation to the Saints organization that would have the least impact on the talent he'd be working with.

Personally, I can't imagine that the Broncos are a head coach away from being interesting again.
