Patriots Really Wanted Mitch Morse
Came across a small nugget of info while reading stuff on the draft. Apparently the Patriots really wanted Mitch Morse in the 2015 draft and were very confident he would be there at the end of the 2nd round when they had their pick. They were apparently pretty stunned with the Chiefs took him in the middle of the 2nd.

Not a big deal, but figured I'd mention it since it involves the Chiefs.

I thought the Chiefs were going to go center in the 2nd. And I thought the Chiefs liked Morse, but I simply didn't have him projected that early.

Well, I was 2/2 on that score but I didn't draw that connection.

Morse has been one of those players every Super Bowl team needs. Does his job, does it reliably, never misses action, and you never hear about him because he's such a steady presence.
