What if Smith gets hurt?

I think most sane fans want Mahomes to sit behind Smith for a year. If Smith were to get hurt do you scrap the plan and play the rookie or ride it out with Bray and hope he plays well and turns into trade bait?

Don't get me wrong. I'm glad KC jumped up and got their guy so you all can have a healthy thirst quenching gulp after a long drought... but lamenting those 2 seconds after the last 4 season's of success just seems misplaced.

Congrats again KC. I sincerely hope Mahomes turns out to be everything you've hoped for these long years. As for me, I'm hoping Smith can put it all together for 1 last shot at the whole thing before hangin' them up.
Their failure since then could also have a bit to do with the Haley/Pioli-esque power struggle between Baalke and Harbaugh that eventually ran Harbaugh out of town.

Smith would be a great option for the Redskins if they let Cousins walk at a much cheaper price and he can definitely compete with the QBs in that division

wanna bet?

We start turning the ball over on offense and you'll find out about how important turnovers were for our defense.

Could get ugly

I still think IF Smith rebounds to his 2015 play this year that we will be able to get something in trade for him.

What if Mahomes II gets hurt?

Not that I would wish that on any player as I am not that kind of a scumbag.

We all know the "Quaterback Club" here at CP are at the top of their game ALWAYS...

Seems they always have a knack at choosing the losing horse. That's why it gets to be so rabid and classless in these threads.

What's to say karma doesn't make its round and kick them in the ass?

That said I am stoked about the Mahomes II pick and am excited to see what he brings. It's been a long time since the CHIEFS Have had such a solid roster to where making a move like this isn't such a gamble. We have had our plugging holes with shit picks forever (prior to Dorsey and Co.). This time it has finally worked for the CHIEFS. Credit to the players, coaches, and all the other cogs in the wheel. Love the CHIEFS trend we have come a long ways as an organization. These are good times to be a CHIEFS fan.

Are you suggesting that the offense would be just as shit with more turnovers? Because a few more turnovers wont be an issue if/when the offense actually starts scoring points and not being one of the worst teams in the league in the RZ.

I open the hippo cage next door so he can get double raped.

Then cheer as he is carted out of the rape pens and dumped into the shark tank.

True Fans will eventually be on board it's a culture shock because the Chiefs haven't drafted a 1st round QB in 34 years.

I think that is how most fans feel here.
That's how I feel.

If that turdwhacker wants a ring, he should volunteer to go scrub toilets for BB over at Gillette Stadium.

If loudmouths like claynus want to yell, let them go pound sand and make asses out of himself as he excels at so wonderfully.

It makes no difference what so ever because when push comes to shove actual big boys are in charge of this NFL team and the claynus of the world are nothing more than message board wannabe.
I don't believe Clay is screaming for the rushed start of the new QB. And isn't it nice that the big boys over at Arrowhead finally pulled that head from the ass, and started taking marching orders from the QB1 Death Cult and Draftubation Nation, as they damned well should have for years now?

Yes.

Yes it is.

Legitimate Answer Time:

The answer to the question is as follows:

If Alex? Parade, nude chicks, narcotics, booze, Fat Alberts gang having a na-na-na good time.

If Pat?
Pffft. PMII doesn't get injured, fool. PMII kills people from the pocket or on the run, while simultaneously giving Alex Smith detailed instructions on how to shine PMII's new ride out in the parking lot.
