Prayer Request My Father - Page 20

Hello CP:

I got word today that my father was taken to the ER with what they suspect was a stroke. Unfortunately, after CT and MRI scans, they found two lesions on his brain. They believe that he has cancer somewhere else in his body and that these lesions have metastasized from that. My family and I are waiting for more word from his doctors.

I am beside myself. My father is an amazing man and until now, in unbelievable health considering his age (70) and what he has been through in his life. We were just on a tropical island together SCUBA and skin diving, with him able to descend on lung power far lower than I.

I don't have any friends except for family. I've never really had the need. But, I feel that need now. If you would, please say a prayer, send good thoughts or anything positive toward my father.

Ugh, I had a feeling it was bad news when I saw the thread had been bumped. Very sorry to hear this, try to make the best of this Father's Day with him.

Don't apologize for asking for prayer. Yes, I understand where you are coming from but man, that's why we are here. We are with you!!! Not only we are praying for your Dad but, also, your Mom and for you!!!
