Both Steelers top RB's arrested today.

From PFT:By Michael David Smith Aug 20, 2014, 6:53 PM CDT

Steelers’ Le’Veon Bell and LeGarrette Blount both arrested

The Steelers’ top two running backs were arrested together today.

Le’Veon Bell and LeGarrette Blount, Pittsburgh’s first- and second-string running backs, were in a car together and stopped by Ross Township Police this afternoon. According to Will Graves of the Associated Press, the traffic officer detected smoke coming from the car, and police found about 20 grams of marijuana in the car.

Both Bell and Blount were charged with possession of marijuana. Bell was also charged with driving under the influence. An unidentified female in the car was also charged with possession of marijuana.

The Steelers took Bell in the second round of last year’s draft, and he won the starting job as a rookie. He carried 244 times for 860 yards and eight touchdowns last year.

Blount signed with the Steelers this offseason after spending last year in New England, where he had 772 yards and seven touchdowns on 153 carries.

Bell and Blount could both now be subject to league discipline, but likely not until the case is resolved.

If you're stupid enough to smoke in your car. Do it in the daytime.

At night time you're just asking yourself to be pulled over.

If Davis wasn't faster Cyrus would be the one returning kickoffs. THE reason Davis is the Main KO returner is because of his speed.

He is faster in the 40 but this can be misleading. Quickness and speed in change of direction in a running back is pretty important. Injuries may have slowed him some he just doesn't look fast to me. First preseason game he ran hard I thought maybe he may help in short yardage. The second he didn't hit hole hard at all and was picking to much and looking to try to outrun around corner. I would love to see 10 yard dashes compared to say Jamal or Cyrus. That would tell a tale I believe.

Would this story be different if they were in Colorado or Washington? Obviously the driving is a factor but would it just be one DWI/DUI charge?

As a matter of fact I have been wondering what the rules are for NFL players smoking weed in legal states..or if they have medical cards. There are NFL punishments but in the legal situations the cops just let them go and there is no report to the team correct?

It's still illegal to smoke marijuana in Colorado in public places.
