Feel free to discuss any future speculation, theories. Anything from the books is fair game to post. Everything that has been broadcast on TV or from HBO. No spoilers needed.

  1. If you watched or know the events that will take place in a unaired episode that has not been broadcast on HBO, you must put all the information and comments in a spoiler tag.
  2. Do not post any media of any kind involving actual content from unaired episodes without being in a spoiler. The only exception to the spoiler rule is content publicly posted from HBO and or the GOT actor themselves. Teasers, promos, trailers etc.

Any person unable to follow the spoiler rules will be banned from this thread. 14 days for first offense. Perm banned from the thread for a 2nd offense.

Yeah it has to be something similar to that scenario. Tyrell's are going to battle the faith. The Lannisters promised help or do something to stab Tyrell's in the back and their alliance is broken.

Braavos is like Venice. Your chances of actually taking the city due to its geography is pretty much nil. They have and can buy and equip a bigger and better navy than you can so starving them out is pretty much impossible, most likely by simply calling in their debts.

In addition, Braavos is usually covered in a thick fog making it very hard for dragons to target individual buildings.

"Happy ending for all" is not something I have expected at all from these books since pretty early in the first one. GRRM feasts on tears of his readers, not joy.

I agree that in the books we will be lucky if we get one person that turns out happy.

The TV series may be a little more open to not killing and torturing everyone the audience cares about.
