You essentially always are able to overlook Craigs defensive liabilities because he can hit (I think he still can, but still).

However, if you can have a younger guy, who can hit just as well, and play at a higher level in the field, with Craigs contract I'd be looking to move him if I could.

He'd be a pretty good DH I suppose.

Few good pitches from getting out of it. Lynn should throw his breaking pitch more to left handed batters IMO

The Cardinals do not need starting pitching. They just need to make sure that they aren't ever starting Lance Lynn in a playoff series. Make him the innings eater during the season. Craig's contract and his power decline makes him essentially a worthless trade commodity at this point.

I'd think an American League team needing a DH might be interested.

I don't think they view Miller in the same way we do, hence i think Lynn is going to be the #3 starter if they make the playoffs this year.
