Mals' Chiefs: A Madden Franchise

Fed up with losing in the playoffs? Want to draft a QB? Want to fire Andy Reid?

The Chiefs won't do it, but I will.

Tonight I dusted off my copy of Madden 2008 for the PC, grabbed an updated roster and off we go!

First order of business: simulate the 2015 season. Stop worrying. Everything is fine.

Oops. We lost in the divisional round again.

Your Super Bowl champions:

Onto the offseason!

I'll post retirees, who is cut/resigned, and if there are any intriguing fake quarterbacks for selection in the 2016 draft.

Amazing you gave up 21 in the first then shut them out in the second.

You need to give us a heads-up when you're going to stream the playoff games.

Right now it's looking like I'll play Indy or Oakland.

If you're up late tonight I'll try streaming the next game I play as a test. Won't play until 11 though.

Had tons of fun broadcasting the Chargers game last night. NWO was a great audience and dropping in comments during the game was a blast.

Gonna post recaps for Bucs and @Chargers today, and final regular season game vs Pats I will broadcast again. Wed or Thurs night. Stakes are gonna be high.

Once again live broadcasts are here:

http://www.twitch.tv/malschiefs

Playoff game is Saturday at 3PM CDT.

Week 14: Bucs @ Chiefs

In control of their own destiny, the Chiefs host NFL INT leader Jameis Winston. Can they keep the ball rolling? Despite his pick party, Winston and the Bucs score a lot of points and are a good team.

Spoiler!

Week 15: Chiefs @ Chargers

Philip Rivers dropped 50 points on the Chiefs in the last meeting. The move prompted radical defensive changes. Did they work?

Spoiler!

As someone hot and heavy into Madden again these days, I'm enjoying this thread, Mals.

But I wont go into the franchise stuff again until the rust has been completely shaken off... and as for you at GM, there is NO way to argue with "who needs a 33 year old guard when you can get Megatron II?"

I see many championships in your future...
