I have had iPhone since the first one (now have an I6) and then bought an Android tablet.

I assume Android is better than it was 4 years ago like iPhone, but dealing with both tells me Apple kills in ease of use, intuitiveness, lack of issues with apps, and simple effectiveness.

Android is better at user customizing but was lacking in most every other area when I dealt with it.

I like Apple, it works for me.

I like them because it was the very first smart phone I've used. Just got use to it. Never tried Samsung, but I have heard GREAT things about them. I know about 3738262 bro-hams who switched from iPhone to Sumsug and said it's way better.

I got an iPhone 4 for a buck when the 5s came out - my first smart phone. Loved it. Got a 6 last fall. Works great for me.

Wife and I both have one. Less of a hassle than Android for the wife. The interface seems to be getting buggy so I might explore Android next contract

Started with iPhones, switched to Android briefly, switched back next upgrade. I just feel like Apple balances streamlined use with function the best, and you don't have to worry that your device is going to be abandoned by the manufacturer and not get updates any longer... just my preference.
