Chiefs #2 Overall...Bucs 19th: Week 10 BES Rankings

LINK - http://besreport.com/week-10-bes-rankings-2016/

Bucs are a dangerous team but I like the fact that the Chiefs are at home for this one. Winston is a gambler and will take his shots and Mike Evans is a man...50/50 balls are more like 80/20 balls in his favor. If Houston comes back for this game it only adds to what should be an effective pass rush by the Chiefs. This is a must-win before hitting the road for Denver and Atlanta.

You have to look at the Criteria....Ball Security, Pass Protection, Scoring ( not just the offense ..but special teams and defense as well) and Ball Control. BES Offense isn't in the traditional sense...yards and points scored on offense only.

I get it, it's an alternative way of looking at stats.

It's just hard to really consider when Carolina is 28, Pitt is 25, and Philly is 21.

And then you see that the Bucs are 13th on Offense and 7th on Defense, but their overall ranking is 19th. How does that even work?

If winston is so good, better than alex, as you so elegantly put it. Wouldnt Winston or Shouldnt Winston be able to overcome his #1 receiver being double-teamed or covered well, and being blitzed? Shouldnt he be able to punish the blitz, and by us putting more attention towards Evans, mean Winston would be able to use all of his other weapons easily and more effictevly since we are putting alot of tools into pressuring the QB and covering Evans?

I mean, I dont know, but this would be the standard we would have here on CP for Alex smith to be able to do, and if alex smith could, or should be able to do that, then i would assume we need to do more than what ive said above in order for us to win, since as you said, Winston is better than alex smith.

I can't speak for anyone else, but I don't expect Alex Smith to overcome those things alone.

Every QB, even the great ones are affected by pressure.

The difference is that the great ones often read the blitzes presnap and check into plays that beat the blitz.

Winston is good, but he hasn't yet advanced to that level.

Neither has Alex.

Another horrendous defense that should allow Captain Checkdown to avoid mistakes and get about 200 yards on 40 passes. Winston will probably rape our corners for at least two 50-yard bombs, but he'll also give it up a couple times with dumbass throws.

Chiefs D: 14
Chiefs O: 6
Bucs: 13

20-13 ezW vs another bad team.

I see no reason to play offense.

Have Colquitt take a knee 3 times and punt. Every once in a while we can catch them off guard and punt on 3rd down.
