Depends on if Mayweather actually trains for her. If he does not. He gets taken down and submitted.
if he trains with mma coaches about takedowns and grappling i think he wins by ko. It is a fun what if. |

Somewhere in the world, there is a guy coaching professional mini golfers. That guy isn't Butch Harmon. The people who train female MMA fighters might as well be training mini golfers in terms of earning potential. |

Unreal that there are many here thinking she would stand a chance, just absolutely ridiculous. She's not going to take him down, she would go to sleep trying. I would not want to see it.

I have a theory that Rhonda Rousey is probably somewhat overrated. People like to say that she is the best athlete at her sport. That may be true, but it may just be because most women don't dabble at UFC. Lets think about numbers.
What percentage of males participate in football growing up, whether it be flag football, middle school, high school, or just playing with friends in the neighborhood. Certainly above 50%, probably above 75%. What percentage of females participate in organized fighting of other females, of any kind? Probably less than 1.5%. The participant rate of males is probably 10 to 20 times of this. What does this mean? It means that Rhonda Rousey likely would not even be a drop in the bucket at MMA if female MMA was as popular to women as watching Shonda Rhimes TV shows. It's certainly fair to say that a larger percentage of the male population gravitates towards aggressive sports and UFC, Boxing etc than females. So, it's easy to argue that it's much more difficult for Mayweather to reach the pinnacle of his sport than Rousey to hers. I'm not saying Rousey isn't good. She is. But she's 135 lbs, Mayweather is 151 lbs. I think Mayweather would likely win rather easily. If your argument is that MMA is an acquired skill that is more important to winning a physical confrontation than the art of boxing, I get it. But then realize that any decent male UFC fighter, even amateur, would likely devour Rousey.

The simplest way to summarize this is to say that Floyd is a one dimensional fighter geared towards stand up, and Rousey is a one dimensional fighter geared towards submissions. That said, Floyd is the most skilled fighter in history at stand up. He is the biggest shark in the ocean. Rousey has 12 career fights...all against women that nobody has ever heard of. She's the biggest guppy in a tiny, tiny puddle. Add in the fact that Floyd is much faster, much quicker, and much stronger, and it all adds up to a lopsided beating. |

A Mayweather jab is going to be harder than she's likely ever been hit and she's going to face dozens of those looking for a chance to get in and grapple with him. I think the only kind of male fighter she could beat would be the brawler you're describing. It would only take one parry and a smart counter to get his balance off and get him to the ground. Mayweather, OTOH, simply doesn't lose his balance and he most assuredly wouldn't do so if he's not forced to slug it out. Rousey has no real chance of flat out knocking him out (she could only win by submission) so Mayweather wouldn't sell out to take a HR swing at her. He'd simply stay over his feet, stay on his toes, keep on the move and wait until she tires after the barrage of controlled jabs.

Fights between men and women have happened, sanctioned or not. Lucia Rijker, one of the most celebrated female fighters ever, with a record against a depth of competition that Rousey could only dream of, got absolutely smoked when she stepped in against a man. The guy was a scrub journeyman and he put her out with one of the first semi-solid shots that he landed. Floyd KO Rousey the first time she gets close to him. |

Despite all the shit she talks she would never step in with him. She won't fight another woman who is only 10 bigger than her let alone one of the best pound for pound boxers ever to live. She is just trying to stir up interest in herself and increase her pay per views. |

Maybe he doesn't even need 6 months, just give him 3 tough months with a good coach training judo defense, and I don't think Ronda has a chance. But Ronda should be able to beat any similarly-sized boxer who is completely untrained in defending the hip toss.
