Ok Fat ****s.

I'm challenging all of you 'pop' (as you say in KC) lovers to throw away the habit forever.

I'm a former user and have been clean for over two years now. I will do one 12-24 ounce cola once every month or less, So I wouldn't say I'm ENTIRELY clean - but pretty well behaved. Most of you pop heads drink tons of it, daily.

Well we have some darned good news tonight because tonight 10-08-14 if you commit we will end this habit or decrease it. I see no issue with rewarding yourself every now and again w/ a coke classic or whichever your poison. Provided you're seriously quitting. If it's something you can't handle and have to quit forever and NEVER reward yourself with a coke classic or whichever your poison, then certainly don't risk it. And only you know your type and restraining ability.

I'd like to challenge anyone who has thought about this but never been pushed. It's just not that hard to quit. So.....

The study published in the American Journal of Clinical Nutrition discovered some frightening facts that should make us all swear off diet drinks and products....

You're not informed. I am very into eating healthy.
You seem to realize many of us here might know more about something that you. I've gone to school for how the body works, I've been a personal trainer, I've been a competitive Olympic Lifter, I still powerlift. I also know healthy eating and probably more so than you. Nothing about having a diet pop everyday is going to make you fat. We have rationale brains so that we ourselves can decide what to eat. Blaming that on something other than yourself is ludicrous.

And PS, doctors don't know everything about everything. I'm not really sure why people think they do.

You do realize these studies are worthless since they can't prove causation in the slightest since they can't control all the other factors that can lead to DM II right? That first study wasn't even randomized!

I'm not hear to argue about it or debate which you seem to often want to do. If you want to drink them go ahead. It's your health not mine. So I don't give a rip what you do or think about it. But, I don't consider aspartame or Splenda good options for wellness. I just put something up because two here wanted something other than I had, which was long ago. I did read it and posted the conclusion of the journal article that said they didn't prove ASB lead to T2D.
